| Sankalan requires parents to be involved as co- facilitators
/ partners in the child’s learning process. |
| A child’s home environment is as much a learning
ground for the child as a school and re-inforcing of learning habits
and attitudes to learning will go a long way in helping the child work
to her potential. |
| Since learning is a continuous process, it cannot be
separated as at school and at home. Research shows that when both parents
and school work together with coherent and reasonable expectations,
children are able to take charge of their own learning better. |
| Parental involvement is also imperative to ensure minimal
T.V watching and avoidance of junk foods, food & beverages etc.,
which foster hyperactivity and create a negative orientation. |
