- on the 'whole' person and the school
as a wholesome community...
Learning involves the ability to observe , to listen
, to interact and relate - to pay complete attention and thus see something
new.
Children are natural learners who have the innate curiosity
and desire to make sense of the world around them. However each child
has her natural strengths, talents and learning style… if we
respect these, respect the whole person, the child’s learning
will be deep and meaningful.
Sankalan aspires to give children a space where learning
happens naturally and in a non-threatening, friendly environment, where
every child grows up confident and sure of finding a happy space under
the sun
Sankalan believes in providing holistic learning – in
an environment where teachers and children work on academic as well
as life skills, knowledge as well as practical learning for everyday
life. Parents are invited to partner their children and the school
and build the Sankalan community.
